GUMBY

Gumby, the clay child of creator Art Clokey, was “born” in 1955. He made his career debut in 1956 on “The Howdy Doody Show”. Shortly thereafter, Gumby stared in his own Saturday morning TV show, “The Gumby Show”. There was an immediate reaction to the little green clayboy and his assortment of strange and wonderful friends. This love affair has continued for almost 50 years now.

Even today, young children fall in love with Gumby the same way their parents and grandparents did over 40 years ago. In February of 1996, “Gumby I - the Movie” ranked #4 on the Billboard Top Kid Videos. Gumby has joined with Classic Media to produce a direct to video movie, slated for release in 2008 and an all new TV series. Several new marketing and promotional partnerships will be announced throughout the end of the year and into the first quarter of 2007.
